I’m Nicole, the founder of Made 4 Rare, and I created this financial system from a very personal place.
I live with dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease, and living with a chronic condition has taught me something I didn’t always understand before:
You have to plan for the life you want while also giving yourself grace for the life you’re actually living.
My Etsy shop was originally created around my rare-disease journey, hope, awareness, and purpose. But along the way, I realized there was another part of my life that needed a system too—my finances.
And that’s where the 31-Day Financial Education + Debt Payoff Project came from.
💳 I Didn’t Want Another Pretty Budget Planner
There are plenty of beautiful planners.
But I wanted something different.
I wanted something that would actually make me sit down and deal with my money.
Not just write down my monthly expenses.
I wanted to know:
What do I owe?
When is it due?
How much can I put toward it today?
How much would I need to make each day to reach a financial goal?
Where can I cut expenses?
How can I create additional income?
What am I actually working toward?
And most importantly:
What does financial freedom look like for ME?
That’s why this isn’t simply a budget.
It’s a 31-day financial education and debt payoff system.

The idea behind the system is simple.

“How am I going to find $1,000?”
You’re thinking:
“How can I create an extra $32.26 today?”
That shift in perspective can make a huge difference.

Made 4 Rare began because I wanted people living with rare diseases to feel seen.

But I’ve learned that financial stress can affect so many areas of our lives too.
When you’re already dealing with life’s challenges, feeling overwhelmed by money can make everything feel heavier.
